Milwaukee County Stadium
Milwaukee County Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Opened in 1953, it primarily served as the home for the Milwaukee Braves baseball team until 1965 and later for the Milwaukee Brewers until 2000. The stadium had a seating capacity of around 50,000 and was known for its distinctive design, featuring a large, cantilevered roof.
The stadium hosted various events beyond baseball, including concerts and football games. It was eventually replaced by Miller Park (now American Family Field) in 2001. Milwaukee County Stadium was demolished in 2002, marking the end of an era in Milwaukee sports history.
