Milorg
Milorg was a Norwegian resistance movement during World War II, formed to oppose the German occupation of Norway. Established in 1940, it aimed to gather intelligence, sabotage German operations, and support the Allied forces. The organization played a crucial role in maintaining Norwegian morale and coordinating efforts against the occupiers.
Milorg operated through a network of local cells, which allowed for effective communication and action while minimizing the risk of detection. By the end of the war, Milorg had grown significantly, with thousands of members contributing to various resistance activities, ultimately helping to liberate Norway in 1945.
