Milltown Dam
The Milltown Dam is a hydroelectric dam located on the Clark Fork River in Montana, USA. Originally built in 1908, it was designed to generate electricity and provide flood control. The dam created a reservoir that played a significant role in local water management and energy production.
In 2008, the Milltown Dam was removed as part of a restoration project aimed at improving the river's ecosystem. This removal allowed for the natural flow of the Clark Fork River to be restored, benefiting local wildlife and enhancing recreational opportunities in the area.
