Millington Naval Base is a former United States Navy base located in Millington, Tennessee. Established in 1942, it served as a training center for various naval personnel, including those in the Naval Reserve and Naval Air Station programs. The base played a significant role in military operations and training throughout its operational years. In 1993, the base was officially closed as part of the Base Realignment and Closure process.
