Milk Snakes
Milk snakes are non-venomous snakes belonging to the Lampropeltis genus. They are often mistaken for coral snakes due to their similar coloration, which includes bands of red, black, and yellow or white. Milk snakes can be found in a variety of habitats, including forests, grasslands, and rocky areas across North America.
These snakes typically grow to a length of 2 to 4 feet and are known for their docile nature. They primarily feed on small mammals, birds, and reptiles. Milk snakes are beneficial to their ecosystems as they help control rodent populations.
