Military Medal
The Military Medal is a British military decoration awarded for acts of bravery in the field. Established in 1916 during World War I, it recognizes non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the British Army and other eligible forces. The medal is awarded for acts of gallantry that do not meet the criteria for higher honors, such as the Victoria Cross.
