Military Codes
Military codes are systems of communication used by armed forces to convey messages securely and efficiently. These codes can include various forms, such as radio codes, phonetic alphabets, and cipher systems, which help ensure that information is transmitted clearly and without misunderstanding, especially in high-stress situations.
One well-known example is the NATO phonetic alphabet, which assigns specific words to each letter of the alphabet, making it easier to communicate letters over radio or telephone. Additionally, military codes often incorporate signals and hand gestures to facilitate communication in noisy environments or when verbal communication is not possible.
