Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-1
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-1 was a Soviet fighter aircraft developed in the late 1930s. It was designed to compete with other contemporary fighters and featured a low-wing monoplane structure. The MiG-1 was powered by a Mikulin M-17 engine, allowing it to reach speeds of around 600 km/h (370 mph).
First flown in 1940, the MiG-1 had a relatively short service life, as it was quickly overshadowed by more advanced models like the MiG-3. Despite its limited production, the MiG-1 played a role in the development of Soviet aviation technology during World War II.
