Mike Sandison
Mike Sandison is a British musician and one half of the electronic music duo Boards of Canada. He was born in 1970 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Along with his brother, Marcus Eoin, Sandison is known for creating ambient and downtempo music that often features nostalgic and nature-inspired themes.
The duo gained prominence in the 1990s with their albums, including Music Has the Right to Children and Geogaddi. Their unique sound combines analog synthesizers, samples, and field recordings, which has earned them a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim in the electronic music scene.
