Mieszko II Lambert
Mieszko II Lambert was a Polish king who ruled from 1025 to 1031. He was the son of Bolesław I the Brave, the first king of Poland, and Emnilda, a noblewoman. Mieszko II's reign was marked by internal conflicts and external threats, particularly from the Holy Roman Empire and neighboring states.
After his initial coronation, Mieszko II faced challenges that led to his temporary exile in 1031. He returned to reclaim his throne but struggled to maintain control over his kingdom. His reign ended with his death in 1034, leading to a period of instability in Poland.
