Izuku Midoriya, often referred to as Deku, is the main protagonist of the anime and manga series My Hero Academia. He is a young boy born without superpowers, known as Quirks, in a world where they are common. Despite this, he dreams of becoming a hero like his idol, All Might. Midoriya's life changes when he inherits All Might's powerful Quirk, One For All. He enrolls in U.A. High School, a prestigious academy for aspiring heroes, where he trains to develop his abilities. Throughout the series, he demonstrates determination, intelligence, and a strong sense of justice.
