Microlights
Microlights are lightweight aircraft designed for recreational flying. They typically have a maximum weight of 450 kg (992 lbs) and can carry one or two passengers. These aircraft are known for their simplicity, affordability, and ease of use, making them popular among aviation enthusiasts. Microlights can be powered by either a fixed-wing or a flex-wing design, allowing for various flying experiences.
Pilots of microlights must hold a specific license, often referred to as a Microlight Pilot License. These aircraft are commonly used for leisure activities, such as sightseeing and aerial photography, and are often flown at lower altitudes compared to traditional airplanes.
