Microdisney
Microdisney was an Irish alternative rock band formed in 1980 in Cork. The group consisted of members Cathal Coughlan and Sean O'Hagan, who were known for their unique blend of pop melodies and introspective lyrics. They gained a following in the UK and Ireland, particularly for their albums like The Clock Comes Down the Stairs and Love Your Enemies.
The band's music often featured a mix of jangly guitars and orchestral arrangements, setting them apart from their contemporaries. Despite their critical acclaim, Microdisney never achieved mainstream success and disbanded in 1997, leaving behind a legacy that continues to influence indie music.
