Michael Oher
Michael Oher is a former professional American football player, best known for his time as an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on May 28, 1986, in Memphis, Tennessee. Oher gained widespread recognition after the release of the book and film, The Blind Side, which chronicles his life and the support he received from a family that helped him overcome challenges.
Oher played college football at the University of Mississippi before being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2009 NFL Draft. Throughout his career, he also played for the Carolina Panthers and was part of the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XLVII in 2013.
