Meyerhoff
The Meyerhoff program is an initiative designed to support underrepresented students in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). It was established at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) to promote academic excellence and increase diversity in these critical areas. The program offers scholarships, mentoring, and research opportunities to help students succeed in their academic and professional pursuits.
In addition to financial support, the Meyerhoff program fosters a strong community among its participants. Students engage in collaborative learning, networking events, and leadership development activities. This holistic approach aims to prepare students for graduate studies and careers in STEM, ultimately contributing to a more diverse workforce.
