Metropolitan Archdiocese of San Juan
The Metropolitan Archdiocese of San Juan is a Roman Catholic archdiocese located in Puerto Rico. Established in 1511, it is one of the oldest dioceses in the Americas. The archdiocese serves as the spiritual center for the Catholic community in the region and oversees several suffragan dioceses.
The archdiocese is led by an archbishop, who is responsible for the pastoral care and administration of the church in the area. The Cathedral of San Juan Bautista serves as the mother church of the archdiocese, housing important religious artifacts and hosting significant liturgical events throughout the year.
