"Metroid II: Return of Samus" is a video game released for the Game Boy in 1991. It is the second installment in the Metroid series, featuring the bounty hunter Samus Aran as she explores the planet SR388 to exterminate the dangerous Metroid species. The game introduced new gameplay mechanics, including the ability to morph into a ball and lay bombs. In this adventure, players navigate through various environments, battling enemies and solving puzzles. The objective is to defeat the Metroids and ultimately confront the Queen Metroid. The game was later remade as Metroid: Samus Returns for the Nintendo 3DS in 2017.
