Meteor Rain
Meteor rain, also known as a meteor shower, occurs when numerous meteoroids enter the Earth's atmosphere and burn up, creating bright streaks of light in the sky. These meteoroids are often remnants of comets or asteroids, and they can be seen during specific times of the year when the Earth passes through the debris left behind by these celestial bodies.
The most famous meteor showers include the Perseid meteor shower, which peaks in August, and the Geminid meteor shower, which peaks in December. During these events, observers can see dozens or even hundreds of meteors per hour, depending on the shower's intensity and viewing conditions.
