Messier_49
Messier 49 is an elliptical galaxy located in the constellation Virgo. It is approximately 58 million light-years away from Earth and is one of the brightest galaxies in the Virgo Cluster.
Discovered by Charles Messier in 1771, Messier 49 has a diameter of about 120,000 light-years. It contains a large number of stars and is known for its prominent central bulge. The galaxy also exhibits signs of active galactic nuclei, indicating the presence of a supermassive black hole at its center.
