Messier 92
Messier 92 is a globular cluster located in the constellation of Hercules. It is one of the oldest known star clusters, estimated to be around 13 billion years old. Messier 92 contains hundreds of thousands of stars, tightly packed together, and is about 26,000 light-years away from Earth.
Discovered by Johann Elert Bode in 1777, Messier 92 was later included in the Messier catalog by Charles Messier in 1781. It is notable for its bright core and is often studied by astronomers to understand the formation and evolution of star clusters in the universe.
