Messier 90
Messier 90 is a spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Virgo. It is part of the Virgo Cluster, which contains many other galaxies. Messier 90 is approximately 60 million light-years away from Earth and has a diameter of about 100,000 light-years. It is notable for its bright core and well-defined spiral arms.
Discovered by the French astronomer Charles Messier in 1781, Messier 90 is classified as an unbarred spiral galaxy. It is one of the few galaxies in the Virgo Cluster that is moving away from the cluster's center, making it an interesting subject for astronomers studying galaxy dynamics.
