Messier 75
Messier 75 is a globular cluster located in the constellation Sagittarius. It is approximately 67,500 light-years away from Earth and is one of the more distant globular clusters in our galaxy, the Milky Way. Messier 75 contains hundreds of thousands of stars, tightly packed together, and is estimated to be around 13 billion years old.
Discovered by Pierre Méchain in 1780, Messier 75 was later included in the Messier Catalog by Charles Messier. The cluster is notable for its relatively high concentration of stars in its core, making it a fascinating object for astronomers and stargazers alike.
