Medium Tank
A medium tank is a type of armored fighting vehicle designed for a balance of mobility, firepower, and protection. Typically heavier than light tanks but lighter than heavy tanks, medium tanks are versatile and can perform various roles on the battlefield. They are equipped with a main gun and often have additional machine guns for support.
Medium tanks were first widely used during World War I and became prominent in World War II, with models like the M4 Sherman and T-34 being notable examples. Their design allows for effective engagement of enemy forces while maintaining the ability to maneuver across diverse terrains.
