Mbundu
The Mbundu are an ethnic group primarily found in central Angola. They are one of the largest groups in the country, with a rich cultural heritage that includes traditional music, dance, and crafts. The Mbundu people speak the Kikongo language, which is part of the larger Bantu language family.
Historically, the Mbundu played a significant role in the formation of the Angolan Kingdoms, particularly during the 16th and 17th centuries. They were involved in trade and interactions with European explorers and colonizers. Today, the Mbundu continue to maintain their cultural practices while also adapting to modern influences.
