Maximilian III Joseph
Maximilian III Joseph was the Elector of Bavaria from 1745 until his death in 1777. He was born on March 28, 1727, and was a member of the House of Wittelsbach. His reign is noted for efforts to modernize the administration and improve the economy of Bavaria, as well as for his support of the arts and sciences.
During his rule, Maximilian III Joseph also played a significant role in the politics of the Holy Roman Empire.
