Max Baer Jr. is an American actor, director, and producer, best known for his role as Jethro Bodine on the popular television show The Beverly Hillbillies. Born on December 4, 1937, in Oakland, California, he is the son of heavyweight boxing champion Max Baer Sr.. In addition to his acting career, Baer Jr. has ventured into filmmaking, directing and producing several movies.
