Mauser C96
The Mauser C96 is a semi-automatic pistol designed in the late 19th century by the German company Mauser. Known for its distinctive wooden shoulder stock and unique box magazine located in front of the trigger, it was one of the first self-loading pistols to gain widespread use. The C96 was chambered primarily for the 7.63×25mm Mauser cartridge, which provided high velocity and effective range.
Produced from 1896 until the late 1930s, the Mauser C96 saw service in various conflicts, including both World Wars. Its design influenced many later firearms, and it remains a popular collector's item today due to its historical significance and unique appearance.
