Matthew 25:14-30
In Matthew 25:14-30, Jesus tells a parable about a master who entrusts his property to three servants before going on a journey. Each servant receives a different amount of money, referred to as talents, based on their abilities. The first two servants invest their talents and double their amounts, while the third servant, fearing failure, buries his talent in the ground.
When the master returns, he rewards the first two servants for their efforts and faithfulness. However, he reprimands the third servant for his inaction and lack of initiative, ultimately taking away his talent and giving it to the one who has the most.
