Matsu-Class
The Matsu-Class is a series of patrol vessels used by the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. Designed in the early 1950s, these ships were built to enhance Japan's coastal defense capabilities during the post-World War II era. The class includes various ships that are primarily tasked with anti-submarine warfare and coastal patrol duties.
Each Matsu-Class vessel is equipped with sonar systems and anti-submarine weapons, making them effective in detecting and engaging underwater threats. The ships are relatively small and agile, allowing them to operate in shallow waters and perform various missions, including surveillance and search-and-rescue operations.
