Masako Owada
Masako Owada, born on April 9, 1963, is a Japanese royal and the wife of Naruhito, the current Emperor of Japan. She became the Empress of Japan following her husband's ascension to the throne on May 1, 2019. Masako is known for her educational background, having studied at Harvard University and the University of Tokyo.
Before her marriage, Masako worked as a diplomat, representing Japan in various international forums. She has been involved in numerous charitable activities and focuses on issues such as mental health and children's welfare. Her role as Empress includes participating in state ceremonies and supporting cultural events in Japan.
