Mary Wotton, Countess of Sussex, was an English noblewoman born in 1560. She was the daughter of Sir Edward Wotton and Mary Throckmorton. In 1577, she married Henry Radcliffe, the 4th Earl of Sussex, which elevated her status in the English court. As a countess, Mary was known for her involvement in the social and political life of her time.
