Mary Lennox
Mary Lennox is the main character in the novel "The Secret Garden" by Frances Hodgson Burnett. She is a young girl who starts off as a spoiled and lonely child living in India. After her parents' death, she is sent to live with her uncle, Archibald Craven, in a large, mysterious mansion in England.
At the mansion, Mary discovers a hidden garden that has been neglected. As she explores the garden, she begins to change, becoming more caring and adventurous. Through her friendships with Dickon and Colin Craven, she learns about love, friendship, and the healing power of nature.
