Mary Baker Eddy
Mary Baker Eddy was an American religious leader and the founder of Christian Science, a spiritual movement that emphasizes healing through prayer and a deep understanding of God. Born on July 16, 1821, in New Hampshire, she faced various personal challenges, including health issues, which led her to explore alternative healing methods.
In 1875, Eddy published her seminal work, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, which outlines her beliefs and teachings. She established the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston, Massachusetts, and dedicated her life to promoting her ideas about spirituality and healing, passing away on December 3, 1910.
