Marta Kauffman
Marta Kauffman is an American television writer and producer, best known for co-creating the popular sitcom Friends. Born on September 21, 1956, in Mount Lebanon, Pennsylvania, she attended Brandeis University, where she earned a degree in theater. Kauffman's work on Friends earned her critical acclaim and several awards, including an Emmy nomination.
In addition to Friends, Kauffman has worked on other television projects, such as Grace and Frankie, which she co-created with Howard J. Morris. The show, featuring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, explores the lives of two women who become friends after their husbands reveal they are in love with each other.
