Maronite Catholics
Maronite Catholics are members of an Eastern Catholic Church that follows the Maronite Rite. They are primarily found in Lebanon, where they have a significant cultural and religious presence. The Maronite Church is in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church and recognizes the authority of the Pope.
The Maronite community has a rich history that dates back to the early Christian era, particularly associated with Saint Maron, a 4th-century hermit. Maronite Catholics celebrate their faith through unique liturgical practices and traditions, including the use of the Arabic language in their services.
