Mark Hollis
Mark Hollis was an English musician and songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist and co-founder of the band Talk Talk. Born on January 4, 1955, he played a significant role in the evolution of the band's sound, transitioning from synth-pop to a more experimental and post-rock style in the 1980s and 1990s.
After the disbandment of Talk Talk in 1991, Hollis released a self-titled solo album in 1998, which received critical acclaim. He was known for his distinctive voice and innovative approach to music, influencing many artists in the genres of post-rock and art rock. Hollis passed away on February 25, 2019.
