Mark 11
In Mark 11, Jesus enters Jerusalem riding a donkey, fulfilling a prophecy about the coming of a king. The crowd welcomes Him with palm branches, shouting praises. This event is known as the Triumphal Entry and marks the beginning of the final week of Jesus' life.
Later, Jesus visits the Temple and finds it filled with merchants. He becomes angry and drives them out, declaring that the Temple should be a house of prayer. This act emphasizes the importance of worship and the need to maintain the sanctity of sacred spaces.
