Marine Air-Ground Task Force
The Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) is a combined arms organization used by the United States Marine Corps. It integrates ground, air, and logistics forces to conduct a variety of military operations. The MAGTF is designed to be flexible and can be tailored to meet specific mission requirements, making it effective in diverse environments.
A typical MAGTF consists of four elements: the Ground Combat Element (GCE), the Aviation Combat Element (ACE), the Logistics Combat Element (LCE), and the Command Element (CE). This structure allows for coordinated operations and rapid response, ensuring that Marines can effectively engage in combat and humanitarian missions worldwide.
