Marin Alsop
Marin Alsop is an American conductor and violinist, known for her innovative approach to classical music. She made history as the first woman to lead a major American orchestra when she became the music director of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in 2007. Alsop is recognized for her commitment to education and community engagement, often incorporating diverse programming into her concerts.
