Marienplatz Glockenspiel
The Marienplatz Glockenspiel is a famous clock tower located in the heart of Munich, Germany. It is part of the New Town Hall and features a mechanical show that takes place daily at 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., with an additional performance at 5 p.m. during the summer months. The Glockenspiel consists of 32 life-sized figures that reenact historical events, including a knight's tournament and a traditional wedding.
The structure stands at 85 meters tall and was completed in 1908. The Glockenspiel is adorned with intricate carvings and colorful tiles, making it a popular attraction for both tourists and locals.
