Marie-Anne of Portugal
Marie-Anne of Portugal was a Portuguese princess born on September 7, 1734. She was the daughter of King John V of Portugal and Queen Maria Anna of Austria. In 1747, she married King Charles III of Spain, strengthening the ties between Portugal and Spain.
Marie-Anne became the Queen consort of Spain and played a role in the royal court. She had several children, including King Charles IV of Spain. Marie-Anne's life was marked by the political dynamics of the Iberian Peninsula during the 18th century, and she passed away on May 30, 1797.
