Marie Fredriksson
Marie Fredriksson was a Swedish singer-songwriter, best known as the lead vocalist of the pop rock duo Roxette. Born on May 30, 1958, in Össjö, Sweden, she gained international fame in the late 1980s and early 1990s with hits like "It Must Have Been Love" and "Listen to Your Heart."
In addition to her work with Roxette, Fredriksson had a successful solo career, releasing several albums that showcased her powerful voice and songwriting skills. She battled health issues, including a brain tumor diagnosed in 2002, but continued to perform until her passing on December 9, 2019.
