Mariano Rivera
Mariano Rivera is a former professional baseball player from Panama, known for being one of the greatest relief pitchers in the history of Major League Baseball (MLB). He played his entire career for the New York Yankees from 1995 to 2013, earning a reputation for his exceptional skills, particularly his signature pitch, the cut fastball.
During his career, Rivera achieved numerous accolades, including five American League Rolaids Relief Man Awards and 13 All-Star selections. He is also the all-time leader in saves, with 652, and was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2019, receiving an unprecedented 100% of the votes.
