Maria Feodorovna
Maria Feodorovna was born on July 26, 1847, in Denmark as Princess Dagmar. She became the Empress of Russia by marriage to Tsar Alexander III in 1866. Known for her charitable work and dedication to social causes, she played a significant role in the Russian imperial family.
After the fall of the Russian monarchy in 1917, Maria Feodorovna fled to Denmark, where she lived until her death on October 13, 1928. She was the mother of Nicholas II, the last Tsar of Russia, and her legacy is remembered for her influence on Russian society and culture during her lifetime.
