Marco Van Basten is a retired Dutch footballer, widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers in the history of the sport. Born on October 31, 1964, in Utrecht, Netherlands, he began his professional career with FC Utrecht before moving to AC Milan, where he achieved significant success, winning multiple Serie A titles and UEFA Champions League trophies.
Van Basten was known for his exceptional technical skills, powerful shots, and acrobatic goals. He played a key role in the Netherlands national team, helping them win the UEFA European Championship in 1988, where he scored a memorable goal in the final against the Soviet Union.
