Marcia Strassman was an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Julie Kotter on the popular television series Welcome Back, Kotter. Born on April 28, 1948, in New York City, she began her career in the 1960s, appearing in various television shows and films. In addition to her acting career, Strassman was also a talented singer, releasing several albums throughout her life. She appeared in numerous other TV shows and movies, including Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, where she played the role of Diane Szalinski. Strassman passed away on October 24, 2023.
