Manobo language
The Manobo language is a member of the Austronesian language family, primarily spoken by the Manobo people in the Philippines. It is predominantly found in the regions of Mindanao, where various dialects exist, reflecting the diverse cultural practices of the communities.
Manobo is an important part of the cultural identity of its speakers, serving as a medium for oral traditions, storytelling, and rituals. Efforts are being made to preserve the language, as it faces challenges from modernization and the dominance of other languages like Filipino and English.
