Mangeshi Temple
The Mangeshi Temple is a prominent Hindu temple located in Goa, India. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, it is one of the oldest and most revered temples in the region, attracting thousands of devotees and tourists each year. The temple features stunning architecture, with a distinctive whitewashed facade and a tall, ornate shikhara (spire) that rises above the main sanctum.
Originally built in the 16th century, the temple was relocated to its current site in Mangeshi village after the Portuguese invasion. The temple complex includes a beautiful courtyard and a large bell, which is said to have been brought from the Church of St. Augustine.
