Manger
A manger is a feeding trough used for livestock, typically made of wood or stone. It is designed to hold hay or grain, providing a convenient way for animals to eat. Mangers are commonly found in barns or stables where farm animals like cows, horses, and sheep are kept.
In Christian tradition, the manger is famously associated with the birth of Jesus Christ. According to the Bible, Mary and Joseph placed the newborn Jesus in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn. This scene is often depicted in nativity displays during the Christmas season.
