Mammoth Donkey
The Mammoth Donkey is a large breed of donkey known for its impressive size and strength. Originating in the United States, this breed was developed in the early 20th century by crossing Standard Donkeys with Mammoth Jackstock. They are typically used for draft work, as well as for companionship and showing.
Mammoth Donkeys can weigh between 800 to 1,200 pounds and stand at least 14.2 hands tall at the shoulder. Their gentle temperament makes them suitable for families and farms. They come in various colors, including gray, black, and brown, and are known for their long ears and sturdy build.
